Nadia Penza
Hello! My name is Nadia Penza, and I’m proud to be part of the middle school team at Center School as a Reading and Wilson Instruction teacher. I wanted to take a moment to share a bit
about myself.
about myself.
I graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies. I also hold two Master’s degrees—one in Special Education: Learning Disabilities from The American University in Washington, D.C., my hometown, and another in Reading from Cabrini College.
Over the course of my 25 years teaching in Springfield Township School District as both a special education teacher and reading specialist in their middle school, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with students of all abilities. I hold both Level I and II certifications in the Wilson Reading System and am also credentialed as a Wilson Level I In-District Trainer.
As an educator, my personal goal is to help students build strong literacy skills while also nurturing the interpersonal abilities that will support their success in the classroom and beyond.
Outside of school, I enjoy a variety of activities, including being a mom to my son, who is dyslexic, traveling, playing golf, and taking weekly Spanish lessons.
I look forward to seeing you and your family at school events throughout the year. If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to connect!
