Center School is a highly regarded 1-8 private school in Abington, PA with a successful 30-year track record of providing children who have learning disabilities with a personalized education to identify strengths, challenges, and build confidence. Focused on students with challenges primarily in language-based learning and ADD/ADHD, Center School accepts students at all grades and makes it a goal to transition them into traditional schools when they demonstrate mastery of strategies to support their successful lifelong learning.

Long-Term Substitute
Center School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute for a 1st/2nd grade class for a scheduled maternity leave.
The Long-Term Substitute Teacher (LTS) assumes the responsibilities of the 1st/2nd grade teacher in the subjects of reading, writing, social studies, and science. The LTS also guides students during homeroom time in the morning and afternoon.
Building Substitute Teacher
Center School is seeking a Building Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Building Substitute supports the School through covering classes as a substitute teacher, supporting teachers as an instructional assistant as the schedule allows, and fulfilling other duties such as lunch and recess duty.
Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers
Center School is seeking day-to-day substitute teachers at a per-diem rate.

- Are a Pennsylvania state certified teacher in Elementary Education/Special Education and with Reading Specialist Certification.
