Tuition and Tuition Assistance

What is the tuition for Center School?

  • The 2022-2023 tuition for Center School is $39,500.
  • The 2023-2024 tuition for Center School is $42,500.
For the most part, tuition is fully inclusive, with the exception of nominal supply fees and costs to participate in after-school programs.

Do you offer tuition assistance?

Yes, we offer a needs-based tuition assistance program for qualified families.

What is the application process?

Our tuition assistance application is processed through a third-party platform, School and Students Services (SSS). You will need to provide detailed financial information on this platform, and SSS will provide Center School with your tuition affordability.

Who is eligible for tuition assistance?

Anyone can apply for tuition assistance.  However, tuition assistance is given to families who have demonstrated need based upon the information received from SSS.
Requesting tuition assistance does not play a role in a student’s acceptance.  The tuition assistance program does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, or religion.

How will I know how much assistance I will receive?

Once you have provided your financial information to SSS, they will determine your affordability of Center School.  That information is then provided to us.  If you qualify, the Tuition Assistance Committee will contact you to discuss the amount of your award.

When should I apply for tuition assistance?

Families should complete the tuition assistance application simultaneously with the enrollment application.

What is the deadline to apply for tuition assistance?

We have a rolling admissions process.  However, while there is no hard deadline to apply for assistance, awards are not guaranteed and depend on the exhaustion of the allotted funds within the Center School’s operating budget.

Will I know my tuition assistance award before the enrollment contract is released?

Yes, provided that you have submitted all necessary documents to the SSS portal before the enrollment is released.

Is tuition assistance a loan?

No, it is not a loan.  If you are awarded tuition assistance, your tuition owed will reflect any assistance awarded.

My financial situation is complicated. Is there someone I can talk to?

Yes. We are always here to help you and answer any questions you may have. We know that every family has different financial circumstances.  Please contact the Director of Admissions.

Is there an appeal process for tuition assistance awards?

We do not have a formal appeal process, as assistance is determined by the information you provide to SSS.  However, if you would like to share additional information with the Tuition Assistance Committee regarding your financial situation, please contact the Director of Finance and Operations.

Do I have to apply for tuition assistance each year?

Yes. Current families who need tuition assistance must apply annually for the time their child attends Center School. We understand that needs and financial situations can change at any time. Families are encouraged to contact the Director of Admissions should these needs change.

What other programs are available to help with the tuition cost?

If you do not qualify for assistance or the assistance program has closed, there are other resources available that are listed on the Affording Center School page.
