While students and teachers are enjoying a well-deserved summer break, Center School is buzzing with activity. Across campus, improvement projects are underway as we continue to invest in our learning environment and prepare for an exciting new school year.
Every project this summer has been guided by a simple goal: creating spaces that support student success, foster connection, and reflect the vibrant community that calls Center School home.
One of the most noticeable transformations will greet families the moment they walk through our doors. Our lobby is receiving a refreshed, modern look that will create a welcoming first impression for students, families, visitors, and prospective families alike. As the heart of our school, this space sets the tone for the Center School experience, and we are excited to unveil its updated design later this summer.
Additional enhancements are underway throughout the building, including updates to our administrative offices and the SEL office. These improvements will create more functional, comfortable spaces for collaboration, communication, and student support. By thoughtfully reimagining these areas, we are ensuring that students and families continue to receive the personalized attention and care that are hallmarks of the Center School experience.
Several learning spaces are also receiving upgrades designed to enrich the student experience. Among them is our enhanced art room, which will provide an inspiring environment for creativity, exploration, and artistic expression. We are especially proud that this space will be dedicated in memory of Mary Hayes, a beloved member of the Center School community whose impact continues to be felt throughout our school. This dedication serves as a meaningful tribute to her legacy and the lasting impact she had on the lives of so many students, families, and colleagues.
Throughout the campus, additional improvements are being made to classrooms and shared learning spaces, ensuring that students return to an environment that is both welcoming and equipped to support their academic journey. While many of these updates may seem small on their own, together they represent our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences for every student.
