Welcome to Center School, a Philadelphia area private school with 22 years of success teaching bright children who learn differently. We believe that every child is capable of success and provide a supportive and specialized program for children in first through eighth grades.
Students who come to Center School have been diagnosed with a learning disability such as dyslexia or an auditory processing disorder; others experience difficulties with language development delays, reading comprehension or attention. Intelligent children who experience learning difficulties often become frustrated and dislike going to school. Their self-esteem erodes as they struggle to keep up with their classmates. After a short time at Center School, these children begin to smile and to hold their heads up higher. They make friends and start to feel good about themselves. As one student expressed so well, "Center School is a friendly place. It's a no-bully zone buy coursework and we have fun learning."
