The Early Literacy Academy at Center School

The Early Literacy Academy at Center School focuses on building the foundational blocks that strengthen early literacy skills. Our multisensory learning environment allows students to experience an idea in multiple formats at their individual levels. We have a fully integrated curriculum that follows a balanced literacy approach to learning. Each day consists of investigation or exploration, guided discovery and instruction, and explicit instruction.  Our students are provided with ample opportunities to engage in a language rich classroom where literacy activities are woven into every subject in order to support the language learning needs of each student.
